My Story
Greg Myer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and
proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps
Serving as a Military Police Officer with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, he gained firsthand experience in high-pressure situations where others relied on his strength and clarity. After his military career, Greg continued serving his community in law enforcement before earning a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
His professional path has spanned impactful roles in both direct care and community support. At JAFCO Children’s Ability Center, he guided families of children with special needs, and at Eagles’ Haven Wellness Center he walked alongside the Parkland and Coral Springs community following significant trauma. Through the United Way of Broward County, Greg trained over 1,000 law enforcement officers in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and community resource connection. He also contributes to the Broward Suicide Prevention Coalition and is certified as a Suicide Autopsy Investigator through the American Association of Suicidology. In 2025, he was invited to present on Suicide Prevention, Organizational Readiness, and Response at the First Responder Wellness Symposium in Fort Lauderdale.
Today, Greg brings this extensive expertise into his private practice, RPM Counseling. He works with adults navigating life transitions, veterans and first responders carrying the invisible weight of service, professionals in high-stakes roles, and caregivers managing ongoing stress. Passionate about breaking the stigma of therapy, Greg frames counseling as mental training—building resilience, developing practical skills, and strengthening clients’ ability to carry life’s challenges without breaking.
