My approach is evidence-based and collaborative, and every client works directly with me from session to session. The goal is to help you build practical skills you can rely on independently, even after counseling ends.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and other overwhelming or difficult situations. Southwest Ranches sits along the eastern edge of the Everglades, bordered by Weston, Davie, Cooper City, Pembroke Pines, and Miramar.
I provide in-person counseling a short drive from Southwest Ranches, with telehealth available to adults across Florida, which fits especially well with the town’s spread-out, rural layout. I work with clients throughout Southwest Ranches, including the Sunshine Ranches and Rolling Oaks areas.
I also work with clients throughout nearby Broward County communities, including Davie, Cooper City, Weston, Pembroke Pines, and Miramar.

Your first session is a chance for us to talk through what’s going on and what you’re hoping counseling can help with. From there, I develop a personalized treatment approach drawing on evidence-based modalities suited to your needs, with progress reviewed and adjusted as we move forward together.
From northern Southwest Ranches, near Griffin Road, take Flamingo Road north to W Sunrise Boulevard, then head east directly to the office.
From southern Southwest Ranches, take Griffin Road east to University Drive, then head north to W Sunrise Boulevard and continue east to the office.
Free parking is available directly outside the office at Pine Island Commons, 8551 W Sunrise Blvd. There are plenty of parking spaces available for clients.
Do you offer counseling for Southwest Ranches residents?
Yes. While my office is based in Plantation, not far from Southwest Ranches, I work with adults throughout Southwest Ranches and the surrounding Broward County area, both in person and by telehealth.
Is virtual counseling available for clients in Southwest Ranches?
Yes. RPM Counseling offers telehealth counseling throughout Florida, so Southwest Ranches clients can meet with me from home or work without needing to travel to the office.
How do I know if I need counseling?
Counseling can help with a wide range of struggles, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or major life changes. If you’re finding it hard to cope with your emotions or manage daily tasks, counseling may be a good fit.
What can I expect in a counseling session?
Sessions are a safe, confidential space where you can talk through what’s going on in your life. I listen closely, offer support and guidance, and help you build practical strategies for coping and moving forward.
How long does therapy take?
This depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some clients benefit from shorter-term, focused counseling, while others prefer ongoing support for more complex or long-standing concerns. We’ll figure out the right approach together.
Is counseling confidential?
Yes. What you share in session stays between us, with a few exceptions required by law, which I’ll walk you through in your consent forms before our first session.
